Overlayer Viewport (User-Hosted)
Overlayer is Javascript code
(see sample in action) to show a slippy map (like on the home page of this website).
A slippy map (where you pan/slip the map with your finger or mouse) is the name for Google Maps, Bing Maps, Castlemap, etc. and almost all maps are controlled with JavaScript code. Another popular slippy map JavaScript library is
Leaflet.
Files required;

HTML is the base code ("save page" or right click and "view page source").

overlayer-user-buttons.js which is what button/tiles you want displayed. Note that Google tiles are unavailable (unless you have an Google account and pay Google).

overlayer-before.js which is placed at the start of your html page (inside <head>).

overlayer-after.js which is placed at the end of your html page (before the closing </body> tag).

overlayer-style.css for some simple CSS styling.

Licencing
Overlayer JavaScript can be used non-commercially under a
community licence or via a
tiered commerical licence (using employee/subcontractor head count).
Community Licence
For non commerical websites use the
Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 licence.
This license enables reusers to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form only, for noncommercial purposes only, and only if attribution is given to the creator.
CC BY-NC-ND includes the following elements:
BY: Credit must be given to you, the creator.
NC: Only noncommercial use of your work is permitted. Noncommercial means not primarily intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
ND: No derivatives or adaptations of your work are permitted.
Tiered Commerical Licence
To use Overlayer commerically, count how many employees you have (including subcontractors) and pay the below yearly rate (see bottom of page). Note that part time employees are added up as fractions (e.g. 2 part time 2 days a week = 1 employee).
